Brothers

There are many reasons I love being a mom. I love the hugs. I love the laughter. I love the play time. I love the sweet snuggles. I love the learning, creating, and exploring.
But I think, one of the things I love most, is watching these two boys grow in their relationship as brothers. From the very beginning, Hudson embraced Foster, literally and figuratively. And now, Foster is really embracing Hudson. I can't describe the look of excitement on his face when he sees Hudson after naps, or a school day. They are going to be thick as thieves some day, and I can't wait to watch it all!

These two boys make my heart happier than I could have ever imagined. I am truly blessed to be their mama.

4 months

Time keeps flying by, and little bit is already 4 months old!

He's growing so well, and is such a happy baby!

-he weighed in at 15lbs, 9 oz (which is the 50%), and is 27in long (98%!!). so he's basically, long and lean! which I already knew because he no longer fits into 3 month old clothes! he's in either 6 month or 3-6.
-he started rolling over! he can roll from his back to his belly, which is technically harder to do than rolling from belly to back. At first this was exciting! But now, he isn't content to just lie on his back. He will roll over to his belly as quickly as he can.
-he actually sleeps primarily on his belly, which scared me at first, but doctors say that once they can roll over, you don't have to worry about them sleeping on their belly.
-he is very social and doesn't want to miss a thing.
-he is very active! always moving, kicking, following Hudson
-he loves to play, sing, and dance - like I said, he isn't content to just be laying down
-he enjoys being in the exersaucer, and pulling himself up on his feet

-he was the cutest little cow for Halloween!
-he enjoys baths. but again, he won't sit still long enough to really enjoy them - he just wants to roll over in his little tub

-he went on his first long road trip! we visited my grandparents in Atlanta (his great grandmother who's grandfather he was named after), and then on to Nashville to visit my sisters. he did very well!
-he likes facing forward in my wrap carrier when we go on walks
-he loves being outside!
-he is a very happy, easy baby, full of life and personality

We love you Foster Scott!

God Bless
