Paul and I are beyond blessed. We have amazing friends and family who have supported and loved us through this pregnancy, and who already love this little baby boy. (I'm not going cry. I'm not going to cry.) He has no idea how special he is, and how loved he already is. It makes me so happy and grateful.
A couple of weekends ago Anna, Holly, and two of our good friends, Lauren and Kati, threw a baby shower for me and baby Reid. It was adorable and so well done! It was all about a baby boy! All of these girls are very creative and did a fantastic job decorating and organizing the shower!
It was wonderful to have so many women come and offer advise, gifts, prayers, encouragement, and love. Many of the women have known Paul since he was little, and have watched him grow up into an incredible man. And now they get to see his son grow up too. We are truly blessed.
As for the little boy!!
He is still growing well! We had an appointment the other day and they did an ultrasound and were able to take some measurements. He's right on track, and as of Friday, weighed 5 pounds and 14 ounces, give or take a pound. And he'll supposedly gain half a pound every week! I've got three weeks to go - so he could be a big boy!
We're ready for him to be here to say the least. We can't wait to meet him!
